Three new retail shops in Munich Airport's Terminal 2 have officially opened. Managed by M eurotrade, a subsidiary of FMG, the Munich Airport operating company, the new shops – which await travelers immediately after security screening – will help to enhance the range of fashions and cosmetics available at the airport with the addition of top international brands.

The Polo Ralph Lauren Store offers outerwear by the Italian manufacturer Corneliani along with the fashionable men's and women's apparel by Ralph Lauren. With 70 sqm (750 sqf) of retail space, it is the first stand-alone Ralph Lauren shop at a German airport.

Reopening in a major relaunch, is the Hugo Boss & Ermenegildo Zegna Store, which now welcomes customers in a 330 sqm (3550 sqf) location. Two-thirds of the space is dedicated to Hugo Boss Men, with the hand-made Hugo Boss Selection now available at Munich Airport for the first time. The remaining display space features top-quality clothing, accessories and ties by Ermenegildo Zegna.

At the new Pure Brands store, with 112 sqm (1200 sqf) of display space, travelers will find four top international cosmetic brands, featuring the exclusive beauty and lifestyle products of MAC, Jo Malone, Bobbi Brown and Kiehl's.

Munich Airport CEO Michael Kerkloh said that the new shops once again underscore Munich Airport's reputation as a highly appealing and innovative hub airport.

"The quality and variety of our products and services in the non-aviation segment are a big reason why we are the hub of choice for steadily increasing numbers of passengers from Germany and abroad," Mr Kerkloh said.
