The Fleming was one of the first hotels in Hong
Kong to offer floors dedicated to women travellers, something
which has since become common place among the more in-tune hotel
companies around the globe.
These women
only floors, called ‘Her Space’ by
The Fleming, feature enhanced security and more women-focused
in-room amenities, design and facilities.
Now, the hotel has launched what
it believes is the ultimate room concept for men, something which
is surely going to be replicated at other cutting-edge hotels around
the world.
The hotel in Wanchai, just a stroll from
vibrant
nightlife and the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, has
designed the 'His Space' concept as a gaming paradise with video
consoles for Playstation 3, X360, Wii, a golf putting green in
rooms along with iPod dock entertainment system, men’s magazines
and a comprehensive DVD library.
“The Fleming always strives to be ahead of the pack and we are
known for creating innovative ideas which our guests love. After
the popularity of ‘Her Space’ it made sense to extend the concept
for men and we are delighted to launch ‘His Space’, which we know
will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike,” said John Hui, Managing Director of The Fleming.
The ‘His
Space’ rooms, which are priced at HK$1,400 a night, offer a 50%
discount on selected imported beers, including Belgium brews, plus
complimentary local calls, broadband internet and cable TV.
Extras included are an American breakfast, late
checkout until 3pm and access to California Fitness.
For a supplement of HK$400, guests can upgrade to Executive
Rooms with fully-equipped kitchens, foot massage machines and
multi function fax facilities.
The rate quoted above is subject to 10% service charge and a
supplement of HK$300 for high-season bookings. Terms and
conditions apply.
