Hot on the heels of Boat Asia 2009, which saw
more than 15,000 people visit the event, TMX Show Productions, the
producers of Boat Asia, are gearing up for the 2010 event which
will again showcase a stellar line-up of sailing yachts,
powerboats and super yachts together with the latest display of
luxury lifestyle products.
The sales launch earlier this week saw an
overwhelming attendance by exhibitors and partners with over 30
boats already confirmed to participate in next year’s show.
“This year, we
are well ahead of time in terms of securing our reservations and
partnerships. This puts us in a good position to better
communicate with our exhibitors and partners and deliver the best
possible results for all,” said Mr. Herman Ho, Managing
Director, TMX Show Productions Pte Ltd.
To be held
from 15-18 April, 2010 at Marina at Keppel Bay, Boat Asia 2010 is
targeting a 20% increase in boats and visitors as well as a
10% increase in exhibition space as compared to this year.
For the first time ever, Boat Asia 2010 will also feature
a “Superyacht Segment” targeted at high-net worth individuals.
Luxury lifestyle will once again take precedence with an inaugural
Luxury Lifestyle Pavilion showcasing a wide selection of luxury
lifestyle products along with an alfresco chill-out bar.
Fashionistas will also get to enjoy a La Perla
fashion show whilst VIPs will be able to enjoy the exquisitely
furnished hospitality suite.
Adding another
element of glamour to Boat Asia 2010 will be the
Charity Gala Dinner where guests will wine and
dine and at the same time, do their part to raise funds in aid of
The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund at a charity auction. A
total of Sin$70,000 was raised this year for The Straits Times School
Pocket Money Fund, and TMX Show Productions is targeting to raise
Sin$100,000 at next year’s charity gala.
Herman Ho,
Managing Director, TMX Show Productions, said, “We are happy to
have received positive responses from many big-name partners
including Audi, Gaggenau, Grey Goose, La Perla, Paulaner Brauhaus,
Xtra Designs, and UOB Cards to date. With an improvement in market
sentiment, strong partner support and the introduction of new
dimensions to next year’s event, we are confident that Boat Asia
2010 will be a show to watch out for!”
