The 150-room Courtyard by Marriott Paris Saint Denis has opened in the dynamic Seine Saint Denis area above Saint Ouen.

The hotel is just six kilometers from central Paris, accessible by car or Metro on line 13 (Carrefour Pleyel station). The Saint Denis hotel is Marriotts third moderately priced Courtyard branded hotel in Paris.

This hotel is designed for European business travelers who want all the conveniences of an upscale hotel but with a casual, open design where they can be totally at ease, said Siegfried Poppe, general manager of the hotel. It is in a great location to service business travelers to the area, as well as leisure guests attending events at the Stade de France.

Guest rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Paris - Saint Denis are fully equipped with Marriotts new plush bedding and bath linens; two telephone lines; wireless Internet access; a well-lighted, over-sized work desk and ergonomic chair for comfort; an in-room safe and refrigerator; a coffee and tea maker and an iron and ironing board.

Special opening rates for the month of June are 89, excluding city tax, on weekend nights and 159 midweek.

For dining and entertainment, Oleo Pazzo, a casual Mediterranean bistro, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with outdoor patio seating and a lobby lounge and bar.

Additional amenities include a business center / Internet corner in the lobby and wireless Internet throughout all public areas of the hotel. A Grab & Go market provides snacks and sundries for those in a hurry. And the fitness center offers travelers a way to maintain their wellness regime.

For small conferences and social events, the hotel has 125 square meters of meeting space which can be divided into three separate meeting rooms.

The Courtyard by Marriott brand is currently represented in France with properties in Neuilly and Colombes, a western suburb of Paris near La Defense.

New Courtyard hotels in France are also planned for Marseille in 2010 and Arceuil in 2010.
