Jet Airways launches Daily Flights between Mumbai and Jeddah

Indias Jet Airways has launched daily flights between Mumbai and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The route will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flight 9W 522 departs Mumbai at 21:35 to arrive in Jeddah at 00:01. Flight 9W 521 will depart Jeddah at 01:00 to arrive in Mumbai at 08:35.

With the introduction of its services to Saudi Arabia, Jet Airways now flies to 7 cities in the Gulf, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Jeddah.

Jeddah is Saudi Arabias second largest city, as well as a commercial hub. It also holds great religious significance, as the principal gateway to Mecca, Islams holiest city.

Jet Airways will also launch a new, daily service to Dubai from Hyderabad, its fifth daily service to the Gulf emirate and second from Southern India; as well as its second daily service to Bangkok from Mumbai, effective August 16, 2009.
