General Manager Appointments at Marco Polo Hotels

Marco Polo has appointed Mr Stanley Lau as General Manager of  the Gateway Hotel in Hong Kong and Mr Nigel Fisher as General Manager of the Marco Polo Davao.

Mr Lau had been the General Manager of the Marco Polo Davao in the Philippines since 2005 and has contributed greatly to its current success. He has had an extensive career with the Marco Polo Hotels, joining the group in 1988, and has worked in a number of management positions.

An Australian national, Mr Fisher is highly experienced with in-depth food and beverage knowledge and has over 10 years experience in executive management positions.

He was formerly General Manager of Tanjung Rhu Resort in Langkawi, Malaysia. Prior to that, Mr Fisher has worked for both Four Seasons and Hyatt properties.
