Futian is the bustling business district of Shenzhen, one of the largest cities in southern China, located adjacent to Hong Kong. The hotel is only
a short distance from thriving retail areas and office towers, and just a few minutes’ walk from Shenzhen’s mass transit railway system, which
links directly to the border crossing with Hong Kong. It will offer easy access to Shenzhen International Bao’an Airport, the Shekou ferry terminal
and the city’s major tourist attractions.
The opening of the 548-room Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen will add a 40-storey luxury building to the city’s skyline. Guestrooms, averaging 45
square metres in size, will feature a design that is both classic and contemporary, while being warm and comfortable.
Café Zen, the hotel’s all-day dining outlet, will offer diners Hong Kong specialties, local favourites, Asian and Western dishes, while the authentic
Italian cuisine of the Terra Aqua restaurant and bar, opening later in the year, will be complemented with an extensive collection of vintage wines.
Alfresco dining on the terrace will be available for diners in both restaurants. Fook Lam Moon will entice diners with its signature Cantonese
cuisine. Drinks and antipasti along with live entertainment will be available to guests in the club-like bar. The Lobby Lounge will provide guests
with refreshments throughout the day, including afternoon high tea, in an international ambience.
Guests interested in fitness will
be able to make use of the fully equipped health club and outdoor tennis court. The hotel’s spa and 25-meter indoor swimming
