Set to open by the end of 2008 Anantara Si Kao Resort & Spa lies on the secluded Changlang Beach area south of Krabi. White sand beaches, virgin tropical rainforest, incredible caves and beautiful waterfalls all combine to make one of Thailands best kept secrets.

Located in the charmingly uncommercial Trang Province, approximately one hours drive from Krabi International Airport, the resort is framed by whispering Casuarina trees and beckoning tropical islands. Guests can unwind in laid-back luxury, explore the stunning environment or perhaps get up close and personal with the famous Dugong (Sea Cow) herds that populate the region.

A true destination experience, the resort forms part of the Hat Chao Mai National Park, covering the coastal area and numerous fairytale islands dotted amidst the glittering turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.

Those who want to cocoon themselves in luxury may seek out the tranquility of the swimming pool or separate childrens pool, the pleasures of the fitness centre and WiFi lounge or the renowned pampering of the Anantara Spa. Dining options will include the open-air Vistas restaurant, serving European and healthy choices, along with stunning Thai classics and local specialties, and the Beach House complete with unique romantic day-bed boat which offers snacks, great smoothies and a great place to watch the sun go down over a Bellini or Margarita cocktail. As night falls the second-floor lofted restaurant ACQUA is the place to savour scrumptious seafood and pastas served with an Italian flair. Dining by Design is the reort's specialty dinner experience not to be missed, where special romantic private dinners can be prepared on the sandbank with a personal chef.
