Alexander Blair appointed Hotel Manager at Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Alexander Blair as Hotel Manager for the Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah.

Blair joins the luxury Red Sea hotel from sister hotel Al Faisaliah, A Rosewood Hotel, in Riyadh where he was Director of Guest Services since 2005. For the last three years, Blair oversaw the guest services team, responsible for ensuring every guest received the utmost service and experience in the hotel and the 100 luxury apartments at Al Faisaliah Residence.

“Alexander’s attention to detail, guest relations skills and growth as a leading hotelier at Al Faisaliah indicate great success for him in his new role in Jeddah,” said Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director of Rosewood Corniche. “He consistently provided the highest levels of service to all guests and residents and was an invaluable contributor to the hotel being recognised as one of the leading hotels in the Middle East.”

Prior to joining Rosewood, Blair worked in Shanghai, China as the Director of Rooms at the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel. With 17 years experience in the hospitality industry, Blair has worked for some of the hospitality industry’s premier properties, including more than a decade with Marriott International.

Designed for both business and leisure travel, Rosewood Corniche is located on Jeddah’s Corniche, one of the city’s most impressive districts. The celebrated Jeddah Corniche runs parallel to the Red Sea for over 20 miles, and provides convenient access to the city’s business and leisure areas.
