Philippe Georges Cavory has been appointed General Manager of Soneva Fushi in the Maldives, the flagship property of the Six Senses group.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director Maldives, Philippe will direct and coordinate day-to-day operations with across the board responsibilities to all matters which relate to the property.

Philippe joined Six Senses from Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts where he was hotel manager for a period of 4 years in three separate award-winning resorts located in Morocco, Maldives and Laos.

Through his 25 years of extensive hospitality experience, Philippe has also worked in Singapore, Mauritius and the United States. He was awarded a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management from the Hotel and Catering School of Nice in his native France.

Philippe is located at Soneva Fushi on the island of Kunfunadhoo in the Baa Atoll.

Soneva Fushi offers just 65 accommodations, which capture the very essence of a luxurious castaway fantasy. The Jungle Reserve and the two Retreats offer the premier accommodation. Each villa opens to its very own stretch of white sand beach just a few steps away, whilst many also include Private Sea Water Swimming Pools. Each bathroom extends to a private garden, whilst utmost care is given to the environment.
