Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong launches Art Fair Promotion

With its “Art Fair” package, the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong is ready to welcome visitors to the Hong Kong International Art Fair 2008, taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14 to 18 May 2008.

One of Hong Kong’s most luxurious hotels, the Island Shangri-La is a fitting base for the artistic celebration, as it features one of the largest silk paintings in the world, “The Great Motherland of China”, and 915 paintings in guestrooms and public spaces.

The “Art Fair” package is available from 12 to 19 May 2008. Guests can enjoy the spacious rooms, inspiring views of Victoria Harbour and The Peak and the luxurious range of amenities including international cuisine at the hotel's restaurants and a range of relaxing spa treatments. The package includes:

• Daily breakfast at Restaurant Petrus 
• A 45-minute “Stress Relief Back and Shoulder Massage” for two persons 
• A HK$1,000 credit that may be used in the hotel's restaurants or bar 
• Round trip airport transfers 
• In-room check-in 
• Welcome Chinese tea and chocolates 
• Soft drinks, juices and beer from the in-room mini bar

• Daily turn-down Chinese theme food amenities

The “Art Fair” package is HK$4,300 for an Executive Peak View room and HK$4,900 for and Executive Harbour View room, based on availability and subject to 10% service charge and 3% government tax. Advance reservations are required for airport transfers and spa treatments.
