Starwood opens New Westin Hotel in Beijing

Starwood has opened its latest hotel in China, the 550-room Westin Beijing Chaoyang. The hotel is Westin's second in Beijing.

The Westin Beijing Chaoyang is located in the very heart of Beijing’s Central Business District. It is a 25-minute drive from Beijing International Airport and a convenient 15-minute walk to the major malls and bar district. Adjacent to the international diplomatic and business community of Beijing, the Westin Beijing Chaoyang is the latest upper upscale hotel to open in booming Liang Ma He area.

The 550-room hotel offers some of the largest guestrooms in the Chaoyang District with a minimum guestroom size of 40 m˛ and up to 320 m˛ for suites. All the rooms at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang offer guests four signature features Heavenly Bed, Rainforest Shower, Technology Support and Refreshment Center.

The top four floors of the hotel are reserved for the Westin Executive Club rooms. These rooms come with full access to the Westin Executive Club located on the top floor of the hotel. The Westin Executive Club has daily changing buffet and free premium spirits and alcoholic drinks from 6pm – 8pm with an open bar. It also houses the 320 m˛ Jinmao Presidential Suite.

The Westin Beijing Chaoyang offers eight restaurants and bars:

• Taste - All-day dining restaurant featuring different live cooking stations playfully employing elements from all over the world and health super foods corners.

• Grange - A modern and trendy steak restaurant with a welcoming 1920’s style cocktail lounge area with a huge wine selection,

• Zen5es - A fine dining Chinese Cantonese restaurant, accentuated with signature dishes of other ‘top 5’ regional Chinese cuisines (Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Hunan, Zhejiang).

• Mix - A mixed styled bar and lounge, perfect for after-work meeting and live jazz in the evenings. Features an extensive selection of champagnes and wines.

• Touch - Experience playful, funky and technologically cutting edge bar complete with interactive features. One of the largest selection of vodka infused cocktails in town, with 88 vodkas to choose from.

• Exchange - A fun and fashionable café, serving coffee, tea, and soft drinks during daytime, while champagne, wine and long drinks are the offer in the evenings.

• Treats - A deli and bakery shop selling local food items, and high quality chocolates, cakes, pastries.

• Splash - The poolside bar offers healthy snacks, refreshing tea cocktails or infused drinks. Features a specialized mineral water menu with more than 10 different selections of water.

The Westin Beijing Chaoyang's 720 m˛ Jinmao Ballroom, has a capacity of up to 600 seats. There are smaller meeting rooms available too, including the Chaoyang Ballroom. 

The entire 4th floor of the Westin Beijing Chaoyang spreads over 2,000 m˛, and is devoted to renewing the body and nourishing the soul. The floor has three main zones: Westin Workout, the Heavenly Spa and 25-meter swimming pool with natural daylight, a Jacuzzi, and separate saunas.
