Chris Brown to Perform Live at CotaiArena in Macau

Straight from his successful tour of Australia and South East Asia together with Rihanna, Grammy-nominated singer Chris Brown will make his solo debut performance on Friday, 14th November 2008 (8.00pm), at Cotai Strip CotaiArena at The Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel. Tickets go on sale from Wednesday, 22nd October at 10am.

Born in 1989, the young and talented American R&B and pop singer-songwriter Chris Brown gained international fame at the age of 16 when he released his recording debut in late 2005. This self-titled album featured the hit single “Run It!” which sold more than two million copies in the United States alone, reaching platinum status. His second album Exclusive was released in November 2007, which also went platinum, featured his second U.S. number one hit “Kiss Kiss (featuring T-Pain)”, as well as popular singles “Throwed” and “With You”.

In his relatively short music career, Chris Brown has won numerous awards including “Artist of the Year”, “Male Artist of the Year” and “New Artist of the Year” at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards and recently the “Best International Act” and “Best R&B/Soul” at the 2008 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards.

The 15,000 seat, Cotai Strip CotaiArena is multi-purpose venue that can hold many different kinds of events. Some of the successful events recently held include concerts, basketball, tennis, corporate presentations, banquets and the recent Miss Macau beauty pageant. The CotaiArena has been fitted with state of the art equipment to deliver the worlds best acts, sports and performances. Tickets are in three price categories: A Reserve (MOP$880), B Reserve (MOP$580) and C Reserve (MOP$320) will be on sale on Wednesday, 22nd October 2008.
