Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Wednesday, 13 February 2008

Etihad Airways has launched a promotion with return flights to seven Middle East destinations from its Abu Dhabi base costing as little as AED300.

The special sale promotion, available at the Etihad website, sales offices and call centres, offers customers a bigger price discount with the more flight tickets purchased.

The promotional fares, to Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh and Tehran, start from AED300 for one return flight, AED450 for two return flights, AED500 for three return flights and AED600 for four return flights.

Geert Boven, Etihad Airways' executive vice president sales and services, said, "This is one of the most exciting sales promotions Etihad has ever offered its customers in the UAE and we're anticipating great interest.

"Between now and 20 February our customers can book our lowest ever fares to seven leading Middle East destinations which is ideal for business or leisure travellers. The promotion also rewards customers for their loyalty to Etihad which we try to encourage with all our special offers."

Members of the airline's Etihad Guest loyalty programme can also earn miles for their accounts when taking part in the promotion.

The sale runs until 20 February and all travel must be completed before 31 May 2008. Each customer can choose up to a maximum of four return flights within the promotion.
