Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 11 November 2008

Thailand-based The Unique Collection of Hotels and Resorts has created a new hotel management company - Variety Hotels.

Variety Hotels has already signed a management contract for 4 new properties on Had Yao Krabi, an isolated 5 kilometers-long private beach, which is aiming to become an alternative to the densely populated area of Ao Nang.

The four properties, Nantra De Deluxe Resorts (consisting of 16 deluxe rooms, 4 pool villas, 1 Junior Suite), The Beach (consisting of 12 deluxe rooms, 3 pool villas, 2 Junior Suites), The Sea House (consisting of 9 charming deluxe suites, opening in mid-December 2008), and Coco Beach Resort (consisting of 11 villas, 2 Suites, opening in early February 2009) are designed for holiday seekers looking for an ideal beach location far away from the crowds. Had Yao is located just 40 minutes from Krabi International Airport.

Each resort in the Had Yao Krabi beach area will have large comfortable accommodation, with WiFi access, private beach, fresh seafood cuisine, and easy access to the neighboring islands, including Phi Phi Island for scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and sunset cruises. Other activities to enjoy include visiting nearby vacation spots, outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, ATV sand rides, bicycling around the hilly regions, and golfing in one of Krabis most challenging courses.
