The
Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) has officially launched its 2007/08 Melbourne
Planner’s Guide. The Guide is the flagship publication for Melbourne’s business events industry,
essential for meeting planners and event organisers.
This year’s Melbourne Planner’s Guide contains
more information on Melbourne’s premiere venues, accommodation, products and services, plus touring and leisure program ideas.
And
the Melbourne Planner’s Guide 2007/08 has got a vibrant new style.
"Melbourne is such a colourful, creative and inspiring city. We wanted the Planner’s Guide to reflect
these qualities," said Nikki Seymour-Smith, General Manager, Marketing + Communications,
MCVB.
Also in this year’s Planner’s Guide, information about Melbourne’s newest developments including
the new Melbourne Convention Centre which is scheduled to open in 2009; the stylish new wharf
venues in Melbourne’s Docklands Precinct; Skydeck 88; stage two of the
Melbourne Aquarium project; and the multi-million dollar redevelopment of the historic 19 hectare Melbourne
Showgrounds.
