United Airlines launches Daily Nonstop Flight between Hong Kong and Los Angeles

United Airlines has launched daily nonstop services between Hong Kong and Los Angeles. The new service offers additional capacity to satisfy Hong Kong’s increasing transpacific demands by providing Hong Kong and Southern Chinese passengers direct access to one of the most popular business and travel destinations in the U.S..

“The Hong Kong-Los Angeles service represents a significant step that United Airlines has taken in strengthening our commitment to the Hong Kong market and maintaining our position as the world’s largest transpacific carrier,” said Mark Russell, Managing Director Pacific South, United Airlines.

The new service will be operated using a Boeing B747-400 aircraft configured with 14 United First seats, 73 United Business seats and 260 United Economy seats, including 88 Economy Plus seats.

The flights to Los Angeles depart Hong Kong at 12:20 arriving in L.A. at 08:35. The return flight leaves L.A. at 12:10 arriving in Hong Kong at 19:40 the next day.
