Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has appointed Maureen Budiman as General Manager for Amadeus Indonesia.

Based in Jakarta, Maureen is responsible for strategic growth and maintenance of business and partnerships with travel providers, sellers and buyers in the region. In that capacity, she will oversee commercial operations, business development and marketing support for Amadeus in Indonesia.

Maureen has relevant experience from within the travel and tourism industry and outside. After having started her professional career within the sales field, working for travel agencies in Germany and Indonesia, she spent eight years as Marketing Manager for British Airways Indonesia.

She later worked as Director of Sales & Marketing for Novotel Benoa, Bali and Novotel Lombok, Senior Corporate Communications Manager for Unilever Indonesia and most recently as Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing for an Indonesian hotel management company called Tauzia Hotel Management.

With Maureens wide breadth of responsibilities and proven management expertise in fields of sales, marketing and PR, we believe she will bring industry knowledge, innovative ideas and dedicated management skills to the Indonesian office and help secure Amadeus's further growth in Indonesia, said David Brett, President, Amadeus Asia Pacific.
