Singapore Marriott Hotel Completes Rooms Refurbishment

Travel News Asia Thursday, 26 July 2007

After a six-month progressive rooms renovation project, the Singapore Marriott Hotel is set to welcome guests with refurbished luxurious accommodation and a number of new room categories.

In the refurbished Junior Suites, tech-savvy travellers can look forward to a whole new level of guest room technology with new LCD high-definition televisions and digital plug-in panels. Catering to both work and relaxation, this new technology enables guests to:

- connect their laptop to the TV monitor so they can work, surf the web, play DVDs and video games in high-definition;

- split the screen to watch TV and work on their laptop simultaneously;

- fill their room with their own music play lists from MP3 players and other digital music players through the systems speakers; and

- play back videos from camcorders and view pictures from digital cameras.

Additional enhanced service features in the renovated rooms include the installation of Revive bedding - a Global Marriott bedding makeover that provides better comfort by creating softer sheets, plusher mattresses, stylish duvets, more pillows and a fresh new look.

Depending on room type and traveller profile, guests will be able to enjoy internet access, ergonomic working conditions, luxurious Bvlgari amenities, relaxing mood lighting and DVD players.
