Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Hosts Commemorative Event to Pay Tribute to Leslie Cheung

Since the unveiling of Leslie Cheung’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong in 2004, scores of Leslie’s fans have gathered at the attraction to honor the legendary super star.

In recognition, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is hosting a commemorative week-long event to pay tribute to the much loved star, from March 27 to April 2, 2007. During the event, an exhibition featuring photographs provided by his fans will be displayed on stage alongside Leslie’s wax figure. Leslie’s classic songs will be played throughout the event, including the theme song for “30 Years’ Devotion to Leslie”, a commemorative event organized by Red Mission this year.

Red Mission members wanting to pay their respects to Leslie at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong in 2007 will receive a special discounted admission rate. Upon presentation of a valid Red Mission membership card, members visiting the attraction from March 27 to April 30, can purchase an adult ticket for just HK$75. On any other dates during 2007, Red Mission members can purchase an adult ticket for the discounted price of HK$95.
