General Manager Movements at Accor Hotels in China

Accor has made the following appointments to its growinng hotel network in China:

Laurent Chaudet is the new General Manager of the Grand Mercure Xidan Beijing. He joined Accor in Paris in 1983 before later moving on to work in Asia. Following several assignments in both Europe and Asia Laurent relocated to China in 2005 where he was the pre-opening General Manager for the Sofitel Suzhou.

Kevin Qin has been promoted to General Manager of The Panorama Shanghai. Kevin first joined Accor in 1997, working at the former Novotel Orchid Singapore and since 1999 has worked at Accor hotels in different regions of China. Most recently he was resident manager of the Sofitel Xanadu Hangzhou.

Francis Wang has been named General Manager of the Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai with the hotel scheduled to open in June 2007. He joined Accor in 1999 in Shanghai and was most recently General Manager of The Panorama Shanghai.

Peter Erler is the new General Manager of a complex of Accor hotels in Xian, China. This includes Sofitel on Renmin Square, Grand Mercure on Renmin Square and Mercure on Renmin Square. Peter joined Accor in 2001 as General Manager of Sofitel Royal Lagoon Dongguan. Before taking this position he was with Holiday Inn and has experience with other international hospitality groups in senior positions.

Rudy Rodas has been appointed General Manager of  the Sofitel Plaza Xiamen. Rudy first joined Accor in 2000 at the Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen in Thailand. From there he moved on to senior management positions at Accor hotels in Australia and Singapore, Most recently he was General Manager of Novotel Oasis Beijing.

Dominic Wong has been named General Manager of the Grand Mercure Oriental Ginza Shenzhen which recently joined the Accor network. Prior to joining Accor he was working at the Sands River Golf Club, PRC. 

Robert Rippon has been appointed General Manager of Sofitel Macau@Ponte 16 in Macau. Robert recently established the hotel's pre-opening office with the hotel is scheduled to open at the end of 2007. He has been with Accor for over 14 years in Australia, Thailand and Indonesia prior to relocating to China in 1998. He was most recently General Manager, Novotel Atlantis Shanghai.

Patrice Larroque is now General Manager, Novotel Atlantis Shanghai. Patrice joined Accor in 1997 from the former Century International Hotels.  Following several assignments in The Philippines, Patrice relocated to China in 2004 where he has been General Manger of Sofitel Westlake Hangzhou.

Guido Milner has been promoted to General Manager of the Sofitel Westlake Hangzhou. Guido has been with Accor for over 10 years and was most recently Hotel Manager of the Sofitel Jin Jiang Oriental Pudong.
