Macau launches Movie Ang Pao Promotion with EGV Cinemas in Thailand

To help spread the joy of the Lunar New Year celebrations, visitors to EGV cinemas in Thailand, who buy two movie tickets will receive one lucky draw coupon called, “Movie Ang Pao”.

Prizes include five Macau packages for two people and other exciting gifts such as mobile phones. The promotion will run at all EGV cinemas until February 28.

The promotion is being offered in a joint campaign by Macau Government Tourist Office (Thailand), Thai Air Asia, EGV cinemas and Public Holidays travel agent, which is also offering Macau three-day/two-night packages for two people for travel in March or April from 7,900 baht per person.

An Ang Pao or Lai Si is the name of the red envelope which contains money and is traditionally given to unmarried women and children during Chinese New Year and at certain other special occasions.
