Janice Vidal wins Madame Tussauds Hong Kong's 'Your Celebrity Choice for this Summer'

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong recently launched a popularity poll campaign on its website and at the attraction. Within a two week period, Janice Vidal obtained the highest number of votes to take the title of “Your Celebrity Choice for this Summer”.

The popular entertainment venue at The Peak in Hong Kong will soon invite Janice for a sitting to take measurements for her wax figure. The replica is scheduled to be unveiled in July.

Janice Vidal is one of the most sought after up-and-coming female singers in Hong Kong. Even as a newcomer to the entertainment industry, Janice has already released four albums and was named the Best Female Newcomer at the Hong Kong Music Awards in 2005, not to mention the numerous awards she also received last year.

“We’re ecstatic with the public’s enthusiasm towards our popularity poll and we are pleased that they’ve chosen such a cool celebrity to join our hallowed halls,” said Kelly Mak, Head of Marketing and Customer Services at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. “We’ll continue to bring fresh innovative ideas to the attraction and more interactive elements will be added to thrill our guests.”
