Xavier Destribats joins Panorama Hospitality as Vice President - Japan

Panorama Hospitality has appointed Xavier Destribats as Vice President - Japan, effective Monday November 19, 2007.

A central figure in Tokyo’s hospitality field since 2001, Mr. Destribats joins the hotel asset management and operating company after a long career with Hyatt, where he most recently served the dual posts of General Manager of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Area Director of Operations.

A native of Bordeaux, France, Mr. Destribats is a graduate of the Université Bordeaux and Switzerland’s Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne. He began his career in 1982 as a Food & Beverage management trainee at the Hyatt Regency Cancun, holding subsequent senior management and corporate positions for Hyatt in Jerusalem, Paris and Acapulco before arriving in Tokyo in 2001 to prepare for the opening, as General Manager of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo two years later.

As Vice President - Japan, Mr. Destribats will oversee all 28 hotels in Japan for which Panorama Hospitality currently handles operational and asset management.
