Hertz UAE expands Dubai Airport presence

Travel News Asia 30 January 2006

Hertz UAE has doubled the size of its counter at Dubai International Airport Terminal One to meet an ever increasing demand in the number of car rentals.

Hertz runs a round the clock service for its customers. The counter handles around 50-60 check-outs and 40-50 check-ins per day.

Investing in its car rental network has been a priority for Hertz UAE in past months, and the firm has also recently opened a new branch in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.

Bob Farrow, General Manager Hertz UAE, said, “Our fleet grew by 30% per last year and our revenue increased by 45%. We make it a priority to continually expand and upgrade our car rental network to meet the needs of visitors and residents in the UAE.”

These recent developments mean that Hertz UAE now has 13 locations across the UAE, with branches located in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
