Allson International appoints Chief Executive Officer

Allson International has appointed Hanley Chew to the newly created position of Chief Executive Officer.

Hanley will be responsible for the management of all hotels within the Sunway and Allson brands. He will also be taking a key role in the development of new management contracts within the region. All global functions, regional heads and hotel general managers of the respective brands will report to Hanley. 

Hanley brings vast hotel and travel industry experience to The Sunway Group, having spent 18 years in a number of key positions with international and local hotel chains. Hanley last held the position of Vice President - Business Development in the same company, a role he took on in 2002. In that capacity, Hanley was responsible for sales, marketing and yield management.

Allson International is a subsidiary of Sunway City Berhad, a Member of The Sunway Group in Malaysia. Incorporated in 1990, Allson International is a Malaysian-based hospitality group and the management arm that operates 13 Hotels and Resorts under the Sunway Hotels & Resorts and Allson Hotels & Resorts brand names in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, representing a collection of over 3,000 guestrooms.
