Cecilia Cheung joins the Stars at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong

Acclaimed actress Cecilia Cheung is next in line to be immortalized in wax at the new look Madame Tussauds attraction scheduled to re-open in Hong Kong at The Peak later this year.

Chosen for her outstanding achievements in acting (Best Actress in the 23rd Hong Kong Film Awards and Best New Performer in the 19th Hong Kong Film Awards), Cecilia will take her place in entertainment history in the Hong Kong Glamour hall alongside Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt, Michelle Yeoh, Elizabeth Taylor and Meryl Streep while mingling with Asian VIPs at the hottest celebrity party in town.

Dressed in a glamorous black gown with elaborate bow detailing, Cecilia will add a dash of elegance to the party as she stands by the bar and cheekily invites guests to join her for a drink.

Kelly Mak, Head of Marketing & Customer Services of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong said, “We’re excited to welcome Cecilia Cheung to the Madame Tussauds all star family. We’re sure that Cecilia’s fans will be thrilled to meet and be photographed with her as they join in the celebrity party. Hong Kong Glamor is one of the new and interactive themed areas that are part of the Madame Tussauds HK$20 million expansion project. The new look attraction is destined to provide moments of fame for every guest.”
