Airlines is to launch flights between Singapore and Moscow, via Dubai, as well between Singapore and Abu
Dhabi on 2 March 2006.
“We are delighted to be opening up these new routes to cater to the growing demand that has been created through increasing trade and tourism between
Singapore, the UAE and the Russian Federation,” said Stephen Forshaw, Vice President Public Affairs for Singapore Airlines.
“Servicing Abu Dhabi with international routes is a natural step in our developing relationship with UAE. Furthermore, the development of the economy in
the Russian Federation has led to a rapid increase in tourism from the region, often encompassing travel to Southeast Asia and beyond.”
Both routes will be served by three flights a
week.
In order to celebrate the launch of the new route, Singapore Airlines will be offering promotional fares and packages on both routes throughout
March.
Customers can benefit from an appealing offer of
just AED536 for an economy-return from Dubai to Moscow.
Customers in Abu Dhabi wishing to explore
Singapore are offered an introductory package from Dhs1899 which includes three days/two nights in a hotel, breakfast and transfers as well as a complimentary sightseeing trip around Singapore.
Tickets must be
purchased before the end of February in order to benefit from this promotional offer.
