Cupola at Three on the Bund is among 20 unique locations mentioned in Conde Nast Traveller’s “Trips of a Lifetime” feature that appears in the
June issue.
The article, which “selects 20 trips for travellers who want to push the boat out”, including views of the Taj Mahal and the Sahara by camel back,
singles out the upper level of Cupola which is an exquisite, private dining room for just two people. The lower level of Cupola can accommodate up
to eight guests.
Referring to Three on the Bund Shanghai as “a glamorously reconfigured complex that contains an Armani store, an Evian Spa, the Shanghai
Gallery of Art and a number of excellent restaurants”, the article continues: “The jewel in its crown is the hidden domed dining room right at the top,
a stunning space so exclusive that it can only accommodate two diners and a butler (who will knock before entering). The neon-lit, 360-degree
cityscape views are like nothing you’ve ever seen before.”
Guests who reserve Cupola can select from the menus of the world famous Jean Georges, the cutting edge New World cuisine of David Laris, or
Whampoa Club, from which Master Chef Jereme Leung presents traditional Shanghainese flavours with modern flair and panache.
Cupola is equipped with entertainment features such as an I-Pod and TV, and is adorned with
golden sheer fabric that cascades over the tabletop to create the ultimate romantic dinner venue.
