Travel News Asia 13 March 2006

The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has launched a ‘Celebration Package’. With a memorable dinner, beautiful room and thoughtful gift all taken care of, all that remains is to relax and enjoy the evening together.

From the moment of arrival, the celebrations  begin with a glass of champagne and à la carte dinner in the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant Foliage, famous for its mouth-watering modern European cuisine and magnificent parkland views from every table.

Upstairs sumptuous rooms await, specially prepared for the occasion with freshly picked rose petals, delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries, and a chilled bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Rosé.

A beautifully boxed and hand-wrapped sterling silver trinket is included in this promotion as a keepsake to mark the occasion by. In celebration of the hotel’s Asian heritage, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is offering guests jewellery by Cassandra Goad. The designer’s latest  collection, inspired by recent travels in China, draws on ancient Asian emblems and is a triumph of classic elegance, original design and outstanding craftsmanship.

The ‘Celebration Package’ is priced from GBP 499 exclusive of VAT and 5% service charge, per room per night. Based on double occupancy, the package includes full English breakfast for two people. The programme is available until 30 December 2006 inclusive and is subject to availability.
