China Southern Airlines Upgrades Transit Services for Singapore-Originating Passengers

Travel News Asia Wednesday, 1 November 2006

China Southern Airlines has upgraded its Mainland China transit services for Singapore-originating passengers.

Effective immediately, transit passengers departing from Singapore to Guangzhou - before continuing their onward journey to another city within the Chinese mainland - can now enjoy the convenient direct connection service on China Southern Airlines. Passengers will now be able to get both boarding passes for their two air travel segments when they check-in for their China Southern Airlines’ flight at Singapore’s Changi Airport.

Singapore is the first city to enjoy this new service from China Southern. The airline plans to make this same new Mainland China transit service at Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou available to China Southern passengers from additional cities in the near future, including Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Sydney, Seoul and Tokyo.
