Qantas Holidays enhances Online Service

Travel News Asia 10 March 2006

Qantas Holidays is expanding its offering for online travel, with enhancements to its ReadyRooms product and the introduction of Red e-Mail, a new email service that will alert Qantas Holidays customers to the latest holiday, hotel and car hire deals.

ReadyRooms, Qantas Holidays’ online booking engine for hotels in Australia and New Zealand, will now offer hotel accommodation for both last minute stays and for travel more than 14 days in advance.

"While many people are now making their travel arrangements at short notice, they also recognise that their choice of hotel may not be available at the last minute,” said Head of Qantas Holidays, Simon Bernardi.

“Expanding ReadyRooms beyond 14 days gives customers added flexibility to plan and book their accommodation.”

In a further enhancement to ReadyRooms, customers are also now able to sort hotel listings by name, rating or price on any individual night and, for larger cities and regions, by their locality.
