Hilton appoints key sales personnel in Thailand

Hilton International has appointed two veteran sales professionals to lead its newly formed National Sales Office in Thailand. The Thailand National Sales Office commenced operations on January 1, 2005.

Greg Seddon has been appointed Senior Director of Sales with overall responsibility for managing leisure and MICE business to the four Hilton hotels in Thailand. These are Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, Millennium Hilton Bangkok (to open late 2005) and Conrad Phuket Resort and Spa (to open late 2005). 

Gregs experience in sales and marketing comes from more than 30 years in the travel and hospitality industries beginning in Sydney, Australia; followed by key marketing and consultancy positions in Thailand and the Philippines. Greg has joined the Hilton Family after spending the last decade developing and overseeing business and marketing plans for a range of clients.

Danny Sukomol has also been appointed National Director of Leisure Sales with responsibility for driving leisure sales for all Hilton properties in Thailand. Danny was formerly Director of Sales at Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Thai born and raised, Danny graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Assumption University (ABAC) and an MBA from Sripatum University in Thailand. Danny has 18 years experience in the travel and tourism industry and has built a reputation based on his enthusiasm and charisma.
