Continental Airlines to return lost American Cat from France

Travel News Asia 30 November 2005

Continental Airlines will tomorrow transport Emily, the stowaway cat that made her way from Appleton, Wis. to France in a shipping container over two months ago, back to her family.

Emily disappeared from her home in Appleton late in September and was found nearly a month later by some surprised workers at a laminating company in Nancy, France. Emily will culminate her adventure with a first-class trip on Continental from Paris into New York/Newark, continuing on into the Midwest.

Continental Airlines is well regarded for pet transport and our acclaimed PetSafe program, and we knew we could provide the very best air service to Emily, getting her back to her family quickly and comfortably, a Continental spokesperson said. Were pleased to get Emily back to Appleton to enjoy the holiday season at home.
