| In November 2005, Singapore welcomed 785,492 visitors, registering a 4.4% growth over the same period a year ago. Visitor days were estimated to reach 2,531,684, an
        increase of 8.2% in comparison to November 2004. Indonesia (173,000), PR China (89,000), Malaysia (61,000), Japan (50,000) and India (48,000) were Singapore’s top five visitor-generating markets in November 2005.
        These markets accounted for 54% of total visitor arrivals for the month. In November 2005, Singapore’s gazetted hotels recorded
        Sin$111 million in room revenue, an increase of 25% over November 2004. The Average Room Rate
        (ARR) was estimated at Sin$145, an increase of 17.7% over November 2004. The Average Occupancy Rate (AOR) for hotels
        was estimated to have reached 87%, a 3% increase over November 2004. See
