Bangkok Airways to launch direct non-stop Samui-Hong Kong flights

Bangkok Airways is to launch a new nonstop service from Samui to the vibrant city of Hong Kong 22 April 2005. To celebrate the launch, Bangkok Airways is offering a promotional fare of HK$ 2,500 for a return ticket from Hong Kong to Koh Samui.

Passengers originating in Samui can opt for the excursion fare of THB 17,300 under the condition of a two-to-seven-night stay restriction. The special deals are valid until July 31st, 2005. 

Bangkok Airways’ Samui-Hong Kong route will be serviced non-stop with 120-seat Boeing 717-200 aircraft, with a travel time of approximately three hours per sector.

Flights will be operated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. PG298 leaves Samui at 08:40 arriving in Hong Kong at 12:40. The flight from Hong Kong PG 299 departs at 13:40 arriving in Samui at 15:40.

Bangkok Airways began its first international service from its award-winning Samui airport to Singapore in March 1997. This year, the airline continues to penetrate into more regional expatriate markets now with Hong Kong and later this year to Kuala Lumpur.
