New Spa and Duplex Suites open at the Pan Pacific Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur

Travel News Asia 26 January 2005

The Pan Pacific Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur recently opened two new facilities - a comprehensive Spa and 11 Duplex Suites.

The Andana Spa is one of Malaysia’s first total therapeutic Spas. The Pan Pacific Glenmarie’s 20,000 square foot facility offers a range of massages and treatments that are based on therapies from both Asia and Europe. With everything from hydro bath, affusion shower and feature pool to hot and chill therapy pools, sauna and steam room, the Spa also features the revolutionary MEDEC Bio resonance System (BRS), which is designed for the treatment of chronic and degenerative diseases, sports injuries and energy deficiencies.

The hotel has launched a newly crafted spa package in conjunction with the opening of the new Andana Spa. Starting at only RM338 (or approximately US$92) per room/per night/single occupancy or RM488 (or approximately US$134) per room/per night/double occupancy, the Total Relaxation Package includes: one night in a Deluxe single or double room; buffet breakfast at Kites restaurant; one Spa treatment plus 40 minutes massage; and 10% off laundry and dry-cleaning.

The Duplex Suites were designed by renowned local architect, C K Chua Architect. The contemporary design of the 11 Duplex Suites incorporates a touch of ‘zen’, in order to blend in with the hotel’s existing tropical surroundings and Malay architecture. The Duplex Suites comprise a lounge, dining area, bar counter, kitchenette and a guest restroom. A sliding door opens onto a spacious balcony with panoramic view of the golf course and a seating area that can accommodate a private party of up to 12 people. The top floor includes a bedroom, seating area and a second bathroom, which is designed with sleek black marble and wood accents.
