Fancy being wrapped in Chocolate?

Travel News Asia 21 January 2005

Chocolate is an eternal symbol for lovers, and a common gift offered on Valentine’s Day. This may not be a coincidence; research has found that cocoa beans contain hormone analogs that are very much akin to those we give off when we are deeply involved in a romantic encounter. Research has isolated a substance in cocoa that was dubbed ‘anandamide’ which was determined to be a powerful euphoric.

Other than evoking feelings of love, chocolate has been shown to be good for the heart in many other ways. Chocolate is a rich source of magnesium, which is a  powerful muscle relaxant, including those hard working muscles of the heart. Cocoa is also rich in vitamins A and E, which are important for cellular repair and rejuvenation as well as increasing blood circulation.

Centara Spa is using this love of chocolate to launch its "Beauty By Chocolate" event starting this Valentine’s Day, 14th February till 30th April 2005.
