1. Embraer Delivers 1,600th E-Jet, an E190-E2 to Helvetic Airways
Helvetic Airways of Switzerland has taken delivery of Embraer's 1,600th E-Jet, an E190-E2. Helvetic Airways is currently transitioning from a fleet of first-generation E-Jets to E2s. The carrier received its first E190-E2 in October 2019 and has added four more since as part of the fleet renewal program.

Helvetic Airways has signed a firm order for 12 Embraer E190-E2 jets. The order is valued at US$730 million based on current list prices. 4. Air Astana Celebrates Delivery of First Embraer E190-E2
Air Astana celebrated the delivery of its first Embraer E190-E2 at a special ceremony held in the carrier's Aviation Technical Center hangar at Astana airport on Friday. The aircraft is the first of five ordered under a leasing agreement signed with AerCap in 2017, with the remaining four aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2019.
5. Embraer Signs E190-E2 Pool Program Contract with Air Astana
Air Astana has signed a multi-year agreement with Embraer on a Flight Hour Pool Program to support the component needs for the airlines new E2 fleet. The airline operates a fleet of nine E190s and took delivery of its first E190-E2 jet in December 2018. The new aircraft flies on domestic and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) routes.
6. Air Astana to Lease Five Embraer E190-E2 Aircraft from AerCap
Air Astana has signed a long-term lease agreement with AerCap for five Embraer E190-E2s, which will commence delivery to the airline during the final quarter of 2018. The E-190-E2 can have between 97 and 114 seats depending on its configuration. Carrying a full load of passengers, the E190-E2's range extends to 2301.55nm (3704km). The aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1
7. Air Astana Transforms Business Class into Premium Economy on E190-E2 Aircraft
Air Astana has introduced a Premium Economy Class on all flights operated with Embraer 190-E2 aircraft. Premium Economy Class occupies seat rows from one to twelve and delivers the same levels of service and comfort of the Business Class it replaces, albeit at 35% lower fares.
8. Congo Airways Converts E175 Deal into Order for Two E190-E2s
Congo Airways has converted the firm order it made in December 2019 for two E175 aircraft, with purchase rights for two more, into a firm order for two E190-E2 jets, with purchase rights for another two.
