Etihad Airways now has better access to Kabul following the signing of a codeshare agreement with Safi Airways of Afghanistan. Under the deal Etihad Airways has placed its two-letter ‘EY’ code on the four weekly services which Safi Airways has operated between Abu Dhabi and the Afghan capital, Kabul, since February 2012.

4. Etihad Airways A340-600 Conducts Special Fly-Past
Residents and holiday makers on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, were treated to a spectacular ultra low fly-past by an Etihad Airways aircraft on Monday. The aircraft, an Airbus A340-600, was taking part in promotional filming and photography for the Abu Dhabi-based airline, flying at just 300 feet.

Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai is now offering a Wi-Fi service in its fleet of chauffeured hotel limousines so guests can stay connected after being picked up at the airport. The Wi-Fi connection in the limousines allows guests to use their own device or an iPad the hotel provides.

7. Hawaiian Airlines Takes Delivery of its 8th New A330-200
Hawaiian Airlines has welcomed its eighth new Airbus A330-200 to its fleet, the third of four that will be delivered this year en route to an eventual fleet size of twenty two. The new A330 was flown from Toulouse to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, where it was used for training in advance of Hawaiian’s service launch there on 4 June. It then operated Flight 3 from Los Angeles
8. Singapore Changi Airport Reports April 2012 Traffic
Singapore Changi Airport managed 4.21 million passenger movements in April 2012, 12.7% higher than the same month last year. Aircraft movements increased correspondingly by 8.8% to 26,400 movements.
