Turkish Airlines has ordered three Boeing 777 Freighters. Based on the 777-200LR (Longer Range), the 777 Freighter can fly 4,900 nautical miles (9,070 kilometers) with a full payload of 112 tons (102 metric tonnes or 102,000 kg). The long range means fewer stops and associated landing fees, less congestion at transfer hubs, lower cargo handling costs and shorter delivery times.

190. Royal Air Maroc Orders Sixth ATR 72-600
Royal Air Maroc has ordered an additional ATR 72-600. The new aircraft will expand the Moroccan national flag-carrier's total ATR 72-600 fleet to six aircraft. The aircraft will be delivered before the end of the year and will be configured in the same dual-class configuration as the airlines current ATR fleet.

Airbus Defence and Space has appointed Barbara Bergmeier as Head of Operations and Member of the Executive Committee, effective 1 December 2018. Bergmeier succeeds Andr-Hubert Roussel, 53, who will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ArianeGroup, a 50-50 joint venture between Airbus and Safran, effective 1 January 2019.
