TUMI has opened its first duty free pop-up store in the Middle East. Passengers will be able to emboss their initials free of charge on any TUMI product they buy.

Virgin Australia has removed all plastic straws and stirrers from its aircraft and lounge operations. The move will see more than 260,000 plastic straws and 7.5 million plastic stirrers a year removed from operations and replaced with paper straws and bamboo stirrers.

Next month, Air New Zealand will begin construction on a new, much larger regional lounge at Auckland Airport, as part of a $60 million investment in lounges throughout New Zealand over the next two years. The lounge will cater for up to 265 customers, offering more than three times the seating of the current regional lounge.
