Cebu Pacific of the Philippines has finalised a firm order with Airbus for the purchase of 30 A321neo aircraft. The contract firms up a previously announced MoU signed in June. With this latest purchase agreement the airline has increased its total firm orders for the A320 Family to 71, of which 16 have already been delivered.

United Airlines (UAL) has officially bid farewell to the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747. The airline recreated the first 747 flight operated by United in 1970 for Tuesday's historic farewell journey. Flight UA747 departed from San Francisco with service to Honolulu with more than 300 customers, employees and guests onboard.

Delta Air Lines has ordered 15 more Airbus A220 aircraft, bringing to 90 the total number of A220s the airline has on order. The additional orders are the airline’s first for the -300 model. Delta also converted earlier A220 orders to the larger -300, bringing to 50 the number of A220-300s on order.
