Le Meridien announce new management structure for the Asia Pacific region

Susan Clark, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales - Worldwide, of Le Méridien, has announced that the company has made organisational changes within the Asia Pacific region in order to divide sales and marketing functions vertically. 

In accordance with the company's new direction, Le Méridien has appointed Mr. Frank Foster as Senior Vice President, Marketing - Asia Pacific. Whilst Mr. Foster continues to be based at Le Méridien's Regional Headquarters in Hong Kong, his new role will specifically focus on localizing and deploying Le Méridien brand strategies throughout the region as well as identifying and targeting key customer segments for Le Méridien. He will also be responsible in delivering profitable growth through program deployment and the execution of key Marketing activities.

Mr. Hideyuki Yanaka has been appointed to the new role of Vice President, Sales -Asia Pacific, and will be based in Tokyo. Mr. Yanaka will continue to represent the Japan Sales and Marketing office, however, with his new role will specifically focus on sales strategies throughout the region. 

Mr. Winston L Reinboth has moved from his previous role of Regional Director of Sales & Marketing - Australia/New Zealand, to assume the responsibilities of the newly created position of Sales Operations Director - Asia Pacific, and will be based in Sydney. Winston's key focus will be to lead, manage and develop the Sales & Marketing activities of the hotels within the region.

Ms. Julia Whitney has been promoted to the position of Regional Director of Sales - Australia/New Zealand. In her new role, Julia will continue to manage the MICE market, whilst leading the regional sales team, selling more than 140 Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts worldwide to the corporate, wholesale and leisure markets.
