Luxury Pool Villas At Evason Phuket Resort & Spa

Travel News Asia 7 November 2002

The Evason Phuket Resort & Spa unveiled seven new luxurious private Pool Villas today as part of the property’s revitalization by Six Senses Hotels Resorts & Spas.

Development of the Pool Villas follows the overwhelming success of forty Pool Villas at the sister resort – Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa, also in Thailand.

There are four one-bedroom Pool Villas offering a total area of 205 m2, and three one-bedroom-plus-living-room Pool Villa Suites with a total area of almost 290 m2. The indoor bedroom area is a generous 36 m2, with the living-room providing another 27 m2.

Each unit features a private infinity-edged swimming pool with vistas toward the Andaman Sea and nearby islands. All pools are at least three metres wide and range from six metres to ten metres in length. Outdoor sunken salas in each garden, complete with day beds, provide the same view as from the pools.

Bathrooms feature double vanity units and outside showers. A special touch is the bathtub recessed in a lotus pond.

Among the array of personal comforts in each pool villa is a home theatre with 25” screen, with DVD and CD selections available from the resort library, in addition to satellite television programming. A working and dressing table provides easy internet access.

The 290-room Evason Phuket Resort & Spa, located on Rawai Beach at the southern tip of the island, is stunningly located amid 25 hectares of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. The resort has its own private island – Bon Island – less than a ten-minute ride by traditional village fishing boats. Bon Island also features an exclusive one-off villa suite for those who dream of being cast away on a tropical island.

The resort also features a Six Senses Spa – voted Best Spa Group 2002 by TTG Asia’s travel industry readers – providing rejuvenating, holistic wellness and pampering treatments by international and Thai therapists.

The dining alternatives include: Into The View, open for all-day dining. Into Fusion, a subtle amalgam of East-meets-West cuisine, Into Thai, an authentic Thai dining experience. Into Spirits is a great place for drinks before dining, or for whiling away some leisure time.

The Wine Cellar features several hundred labels and hosts frequent tasting. It is also available for private gatherings.

The Evason Phuket offers many leisure activities. Water sports, diving, tennis, a fully-equipped gym and three swimming pools. A professionally-managed Kid’s Club keeps children entertained all day and is complete with a free-form family pool and water-slide.
