Novotel set to open in Wuhan, China

Novotel Xin Hua Wuhan will officially open on 28 September, bringing Accor's European touch and business class accommodation to one of China's most dynamic cities.

Centrally located in Hankou, the city's vibrant business and financial district, the hotel is nestled right next door to the New World Office Building and Department Store.

The Novotel Xin Hua Wuhan boasts 303 guestrooms, including 35 suites and three executive floors all equipped with an extensive array of first class amenities to ensure the utmost comfort for its guests. Executive floors offer exclusive accommodation with extended privileges such as private check-in and check-out in the executive lounge, complementary breakfast and free pressing of two garments in addition to other services.

Five function rooms that can accommodate from eight to 280 people are equipped with banquet and meeting facilities ideal for seminars, conferences and other important corporate events, all tailored-made to suit individual needs. Later additions set for completion by earlier next year include the hotel's new fitness centre offering state-of-the-art facilities to ensure guests stay fit, including a sauna, massage service and an indoor rooftop swimming pool.

Novotel Xin Hua Wuhan features four distinctive food and beverage outlets making it a heaven for epicureans in search of unique dining experience.

- Fuego's Brasserie - the hotel's flagship outlet with an exciting new "fusion brasserie concept" which features a delicious Brazilian Barbecue for lunch and dinner. Each day a wide variety of marinated fresh meats are laid out together with an impressive buffet offering a varied mix of local favourites and traditional brasserie specialities.

- Fu Man Lou Restaurant - Chinese restaurant serving exquisite and affordably priced cuisine from different regions (Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan and local Hubei specialities) around China for lunch and dinner. Sixteen beautifully appointed VIP rooms cater to private dining and informal group gatherings.

- La Boulangerie - a highly visible deli-shop with a strong French and European flavour in terms of interior design, , this is the first delicatessen in Wuhan offering a full range of deli favourites. In spring and autumn the opportunity for seating outside for a snack or a drink will prove attractive with passers-by and the French diplomatic community. 

- Le Rendezvous - the hotel lobby lounge and bar, a perfect place for refreshing drinks in a relax setting. Live entertainment at night. 

The hotel will also add an extensive entertainment complex during the complete with a discotheque, nightclub with Karaoke rooms to complete its f&b offer.

The hotel is easily accessible from all parts of the city and is only a 30-minute drive from Tian He International Airport. Most of the main tourist attractions are within a 20-minute drive, including the historical landmarks of Yan Jiang Avenue, Gui Yuan Temple or the Yellow Crane Tower. The city's main shopping district is within easy walking distance from Novotel Xin Hua Wuhan.

To celebrate the official opening of Novotel Xin Hua Wuhan, a special rate of only RMB 398 (US$48) plus 15 per cent service charge and tax is available until 28 February 2003.
