New General Manager appointed at the Crowne Plaza Bangkok

Six Continents Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of John Roozemond as General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Bangkok.

Prior to his new appointment he was President and CEO of Swiss Garden International Hotels and Resorts, in Malaysia.

A professional Hotelier with over 30 years of International management experience he came to Asia for the first time in 1970, after completing his tertiary Education in Holland and Canada.

His earlier experience in Thailand was in 1988/89 establishing the Eastern Oriental Express, the luxury train service between Singapore and Bangkok when he was CEO of Venice Simplon Orient Express, Owners of E & O Express.
