Chance to win Nissan Patrol daily at Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2003

Travel News Asia 3 December 2002

The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) office announced today that the Nissan Patrol-a-Day promotion would be a part of the exciting promotional line-up for Dubai Shopping Festival 2003. This promotion will give away a total of 32 Nissan Patrols, the top-of-the-range 4x4 during the Festival from January 15 - February 15, 2003. Shoppers spending a specified amount at any of the DSF sponsors' outlets will be given a free raffle coupon for the daily draws.

Says Laila Suhail, Corporate Alliance Director, Dubai Shopping Festival, "The Nissan raffle is designed as an exclusive offer to DSF patrons, key sponsors and support sponsors who can reward their customers with a free raffle ticket when they spend a predetermined amount in their outlets. We would like to invite shopping malls, electronics stores, textile shops, garments stores, restaurants and EPPCO/ENOC stations and any other business enterprise to register with us in order to give their customers extra value through this raffle."

The amount on which the raffle coupon is given away can be fixed by the participating outlets, and could range from Dhs 25 to Dhs 200 per coupon.

"The Nissan Patrol-a-Day promotion has proved to be one of the highlights of DSF, and will be even better this year with more ways for DSF visitors and Dubai residents to get a free ticket and take part," said Mr. Ibrahim Saleh, Chief Operating Officer of DSF. "This raffle will once again provide high excitement to shoppers. We have also decided to increase the buyback value so as to give more flexibility to the winner. "

DSF will offer a buy-back option to winners through Arabian Automobiles for the benefit of those who do not wish to keep the vehicle. The buy-back will be priced at Dhs 125,000, which has been increased from Dhs 100,000 last year.

Each coupon will have 'retain' portion, which the customer keeps, and a 'deposit' portion which can be dropped in the collection barrels on any day of customers choice. There is no limit to the number of times a shopper can enter the raffle.

Mr. Michel Ayat, General Manager of Arabian Automobiles Company, part of the Al Rostamani Group and Nissan distributor in Dubai & Northern Emirates, said that the Nissan Patrol-a-Day raffle offered shoppers the chance to win the latest model of much sought-after 4-wheel drive.

Mr. Ayat said, "The Al Rostamani Group is pleased to support Dubai Shopping Festival in this promotion. As suppliers of Nissan vehicles in the region, we are delighted to continue our involvement with Dubai Shopping Festival and this exceptional raffle which we are sure will once again be a major highlight of the Festival."
