Thai Airways International Celebrates HM the King’s Birthday with Special On-Board Menu

On the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday this year on 5th December, Thai Airways International has prepared a range of delicious dishes for the on-board menu especially for passengers traveling on board all THAI international flights between 4 – 6 December 2002.

First Class passengers can enjoy fresh green salad from the Royal Projects served with River of Kings dressing, How Mok lobster cooked in coconut milk and chilli paste served with Thai Chitralada Hom Mali rice and vegetables, and Doi Tung Macadamia Ta-go or macadamia nut with coconut cream for dessert. Grilled Tab Tim Fish with Thai Herbs will be served to all THAI’s business and economy class passengers.

Mr. Nikom Raviyan, Vice President, Inflight Customer Services Department said, “His Majesty King Bhumibol holds a special place in the heart of the Thai people around the world. To mark and share this special occasion, which is recognized as Father’s Day in Thailand, with our passengers, THAI has arranged a special on-board menu for passengers on all THAI international flights departing from Bangkok between 4 – 6 December 2002. Locally produced raw materials have been selected for preparation of the menu to further promote Thai agricultural products and especially those from Royal Projects to the world.”
