Dusit Dubai Launches New Advertising Campaign

Travel News Asia 22 November 2002

In line with the vision to promote the Dusit Dubai as the hotel where Royal Thai hospitality and service are unrivalled in the city, the hotel has launched a distinctive new ad campaign. These new ads are designed to position the Dusit Dubai as the ambassador for Dusit Hotels and Resorts in the Middle East.

Using the hotel's corporate colours of blue and silver, the eye-catching campaign takes the Dusit's authentic Thai hospitality as its main theme. In addition, extensive use of pictures of Thai staff set against the backdrop of both the magnificent hotel exterior and cosy interior in all of the adverts carry the message that guests at the Dusit Dubai can expect a traditional warm Thai welcome and gracious hospitality every time they visit the hotel.

The creative team responsible for the creation of the ad campaign is Fusion Marketing Management who has worked closely with the management team of the Dusit to produce a unique and attractive campaign.

"We have capitalized on the fact that all of the staff at the Dusit Dubai are recruited directly from Thailand consolidating the Dusit's claim to authentic Thai hospitality." commented Michael P Tiplady, General Manager of Dusit Dubai. "We don't use models in any of the shots, instead, all of the people you see are actual staff at the hotel"

The new advertising campaign will start from November with adverts appearing in newspapers and magazines throughout the Gulf region.
